What is a Cohesive Brand Aesthetic?
Cohesive brand aesthetic. You’ve probably heard those words thrown around a lot. But what do they mean?
In today’s post we’re going to define WHAT a cohesive brand aesthetic is, and I’m going to share a FREE resource to help you create yours.

So, let’s start by diving into what exactly a cohesive brand aesthetic is. We’re going to break it down one word at a time, so we can really understand what an aesthetic encompasses.
COHESIVE: sticking together tightly or closely united.
BRAND: the feeling your audience gets when interacting with any part of your business
AESTHETIC: a visual through-line; a distinctive appearance.
Let’s tie all the words together:
COHESIVE BRAND AESTHETIC: a distinctive, united look and feel across every aspect of your brand a customer or follower might see or experience.
To start in creating your own cohesive brand aesthetic, whether you’re starting from scratch or updating your current look, I want to offer you something that will make this process SO much easier.
It’s a free download I made called “Brand Aesthetic Refresh” - it’s a PDF guide, including checklists and prompts that can help you establish your brand’s updated aesthetic in 3 days flat.
The best part about it is that I broke it down into incredibly simple steps - I am now appreciating the value of easy-to-complete checklists that actually drive results more than ever after recently becoming a mom. My days are a lot busier and my time to focus is a lot less, so I kept in mind busy schedules when I created this guide.
In fact, the first and second day of the three day brand refresh process only requires you to dedicate 15 minutes to complete the work, and then on the third day, an hour. So, if you follow my plan you’ll have clarity on your brands aesthetic by spending only an hour and a half of dedicated time on it, which is pretty awesome! You can sign up for that, for free, here.
Also, when it comes to talking about your brand aesthetic being cohesive, we want every little part of your business showing up as united. Some people call all these different parts Brand Touchpoints. A few examples would be your storefront, Instagram, website, and email newsletter. Interested in learning more about Brand Touchpoints?
