11 Positive Affirmations About Time
Have you ever told yourself “everything is okay” over and over during a stressful situation in an attempt to soothe and ground yourself? Without knowing it, you were using affirmations: Statements you repeatedly tell yourself aloud or silently in your mind, to remind yourself what’s really true. Affirmations are surprisingly effective; but to pick the right ones, you need to feel better when you say them and have a knowing that it’s the truth, even if you don’t fully feel it at first. I see affirmations as building up truth and positivity. If you tell your mind something enough times, your body and mind will eventually respond to it and feel it as the “more true thing” rather than your stressful thoughts and ideas (which I personally believe aren’t ultimately true).
Now that you know what affirmations are, you might be wondering why they’re important. Affirmations can be used to reduce your stress and get your brain thinking in a more positive mindset. They can help focus you so that you can spend less time worrying, and more time on the important stuff, like your personal and professional goals, or heck - enjoying your day!
You can create affirmations on any subject. Below I’ve collected my favorite affirmations about time. If you’ve accidentally gotten yourself into negative thought patterns or stress about time, try these affirmations below to remind yourself of the truth.
